First I Tried

listening to Just Grace and then I saw a copy of the book and thought maybe the reason I wasn't really enthralled with it, is the fact that there are little cartoons and the illustrations of the book are probably a big part of the fun.  So I read it. Well, sadly, I probably should have just listened to it.  Because Just Grace isn't very good if you like the kind of books that I do.  Grace is pretty mean, even though her parents and she consider her to be really empathetic and helpful and kind.  I am not getting that from this first book.  And I won't read anymore.  I need to find another female friend for Keena and Dyamonde.  Grace is too mean.  She is more likely to be friends with Ivy, Bean and Junie B.
