What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

Let It Snow

It is really snowing today.  The kind of snow where lots of places close.  Even our zoo is closed!  My places of work are both closing early today, but I wasn't supposed to work at one of them, only at a my full-time place tonight.  I am actually kind of glad because I am feeling quite unwell physically!
Last night I started the book Let It Snow.  And I am almost done with it.  How awesome to find a book set at the exact same time of year that it is now and during the same kind of weather conditions!  While looking for a picture for this post I found this site.  One of my goals for the new year is to pay more attention to nature.  Does virtual nature count?  Probably not.  But this site has some great pictures!
