I Don't Want to Have to Kill You is the third in the John Cleaver series, but it might be the last one I will read, or maybe at least for awhile. I really did like this one! I thought it added some special creepiness, but I started the fourth one and I just can't seem to get into it, at least for now.
Hmm..now that I went to add the links, I see that there is a 3.5 in the series...maybe I do need to read that one and try the fourth again because one of my problems with the fourth was that I felt it made too big of a jump. It also was super sad and full of despair. But that isn't necessarily a deal-breaker for me, I just think right now, it needed to be! Okay so put a hold on the ebook! I don't know how often it happens that a series gets better as we go along, but this one has for me!
What's Going On Here?
There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.
