What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

A Secret Secret

A Secret Garden is one of those books that EVERYONE has read, right?  Well, I was not among the EVERYONE, until now.
I think.
I mean, I listened to the book, but I don't think, now that I think about it, it was the WHOLE book.  It was one of the BBC Full Cast Dramatization things. 
Yeah, no.  This was around two hours long and the full book is around seven.
So I guess I still haven't heard/read the whole book.
AND THAT IS OKAY!
It just didn't do it for me.  Though I was really surprised by the ending.  I guess.  I mean, the dad's reaction.  It was okay.  And the two hour version was enough.
A little more than enough, actually.
