What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

MTB

Julia believes that there is "the one" out there for her.  And she is pretty sure that Mark, the boy she was in love with as a child, is her MTB (meant to be).  But then she ends up spending 9 days in London with her English class and learns more about herself and her classmates and her MTB.
I just wasn't pulled in by Meant to Be.  It reminded me a lot of A Field Guide for Heartbreakers, not just because they are both about high school students  spending time in Europe, but because the characters in both books were hard to like.  Any of them.  I don't know, this one just didn't do it for me.
