That's another thing that is awesome about reading. When you read, you quickly find out you aren't alone in the world. I listened to UFOs, JFK and Elvis: Conspiracies You Don't Have to be Crazy to Believe because I am a big fan of Richard Belzer. I only know him from Homicide: Life on the Streets and Law & Order: SVU. But I know he has done much more, including write this really great book!
The coolest thing I learned in UFOs was that other people at least entertain the possibility that the moon landing was a fake!
The book focuses mostly on the JFK assassination. Are there people who still believe in the one bullet thing that came from Lee Harvey Oswald's gun?
Really good book and a lot of laughs. I hope to read more by Belzer.
What's Going On Here?
There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.
