What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

Spies in Love

I had no idea how much I would enjoy I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You. It was a very sweet read. Definitely one of those Books that Won't Make You Blush. True there is romance, our hero, teen spy Cammie, falls in love for the first time with a civilian named Josh. Cammie attends a spy school for girls where she and her classmates are taught by current and former CIA operatives, agents from Interpool and others from the intelligence community. If you like light, sweet romances (I usually don't) and secret agent action, this book is a good choice. It is the first in the series. I don't think I will continue on and read more, but I did enjoy this offering.
