I have finished another Lauren Myracle series, now that I have come to the end of l8r, g8r. I enjoyed this series very much, but because the format was a little harder for me to follow with ease, I was sadder to see The Winnie Years end than The Internet Girls. Though I would love to have another to read, don't get me wrong.
Angle, Zoe and Madigan are seniors now, dealing with college decisions, boyfriends and the lack of boyfriends, the choice to have sex, questions of faith and their nemisis Jana.
I love the way Myracle talks about faith. I am sure many conservatives don't like it, but I do. I am sure many liberals don't like it either, but I do!
I like the give and take of it. The living in the gray.
Anyway...I think I will end this as the girls would...g2g, cul8r!
What's Going On Here?
There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.
