Stirring!

Richard Matheson is best known for I am Legend and I was glad to read that because that was the only thing I knew about him at first.  I had seen the movie, the one by the same name, with Will Smith and I found it to be super awesome.
I guess I knew once upon a time, maybe that he had also written What Dreams May Come, which I have not read but it was made into a movie and my dear friend's cousin won an Academy Award in 1999 for Best Visual Effects for the film. So that makes me almost related to Richard Matheson.  Almost best buddies, regardless of how I feel about the Oscars.
Anyway, it is almost October which means it is almost Halloween and so I thought it would be nice to read something creepy.  And this was!  I listened to it and it was narrated by the incredible Scott Brick.  Wow.  What a voice.  And perfect for this book, which is creepy and really good.
