I was hesitant to read Shiver, the whole romance thing, but I am so glad I read it. It's like Twilight but way better and with only werewolves. And I really loved Twilight. Something I really liked about the book was that it is set in the wonderful state of Minnesota! It is told from two perspectives, Grace a young girl who falls in love with a werewolf and Sam, the werewolf she loves. I love the whole books from different perspective thing and Grace and Sam are very likable characters. Sam is originally from Duluth. Even the characters who aren't supposed to be likable, like Isabelle and Jake Culpeppers, are likable enough! I don't want to give much about the story away but the basic deal is that it is tough to be a werewolf and it is very tough to be in love with a werewolf, especially if you are looking for a long-term relationship. I am looking forward to the second book in the trilogy, Linger, which is coming out in July.
