I have thought about this so much and though I have been through some trying times in my life, I keep coming back to the realization if you changed one thing in the past, it would compromise everything about the present. Therefore, I wouldn't change a thing.
That's the idea here. Devi is a high school senior at the end of her high school career. Her phone falls into a fountain at the mall. Devi's phone doesn't work at all, except....when she hits send, she calls herself! Only it is herself in September of her sophomore year. After getting over the initial disbelief and shock, Older Devi starts telling Younger Devi all of the stuff she needs to do and avoid to make her life better.
This books is both fun, fun, fun and thought-provoking. It was a total accident that I read it- I won a copy- autographed and everything- from randombuzzers.com. I can't wait to read another book by Sarah Mlynowski.
