One is finding a great book unexpectedly. 37 Things I Love (in no particular order) was one of those books. I just picked it off the shelf and read it all. It is also a very different story, the narrator, Ellis, is a sophomore in high school and she is telling her story through 37 different things that she loves. I don't want to give too much away, but this is surprising book, quick to read and it deals with all kinds of topics, but not in an over-the-top kind of way. Sexuality, loss of a loved one, self-discovery. Great stuff. The cover is totally bizarre though. Don't know what it has to do with anything. Wednesday, January 23, 2013
