What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

SLLLOOOWW Blogging

As you have noticed and have asked via email, things have slowed down here on the blog.  I had surgery and then my father went Home to Jesus and things have been a little crazy.  I have been reading though, and until I catch up, you can see what I've read on my goodreads.com page.  So far I've read 120 books this year, that equals one for each day so far, as we are at the 120th day of 2013.  I don't plan to read 365 books!  It has just worked out one per day so far.  So anyway, yes I am still here, reading and writing a little!  I hope to have this all up to date by the end of May!
