What's Going On Here?
There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

Oh Sweet Mystery of Life
I have never actually heard this song, but I have heard it referenced different places. I have no idea why I am including it here other than the fact that Mystery is the latest book by Jonathan Kellerman and I just finished listening to it, and well, the song has mystery in the title and all. Usually I complain about Jonathan Kellerman's books being too long, but this was not the case with Mystery. It was tight, well-written, solid mystery about a nameless girl who ends up shot twice and abandoned. Alex and Milo struggle to ID her and then have to put the pieces together to find her killer. I wonder if something is going on with Rick and Milo...there seemed to be some tension there...did anyone else notice that?
