I am worried, but not too worried. How can people vote for candidates who voted to cut benefits to veterans. No matter where else you come down on any of the issues, it is clear that this election's Republican ticket is anti-veteran. And being anti-veteran is anti-American.
The choice is clear. If you love your country, if you love freedom, you must vote with those who support our brave veterans. Obama is not a choice, he is the ONLY choice.
What's Going On Here?
There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

Vote! Vote! Vote!
everybody vote! Unless you are a donut, cause donuts don't vote! How I love Making Fiends! It is the big year, the Presidential Election year! Anyone with a brain and/or conscious is thinking about the decision they will have to make this fall. Last night Rick Santorum did very well in the Iowa Caucus. That was scary news to some. He has always scared me. Being from Pennsylvania I am a little more aware of Santorum's character. The man can't even pay his taxes on time. Around here, we remember his dishonesty.
Most importantly, let no one overlook his ties to foster parent scumbag, Jerry Sandusky. Santorum sponsored Sandusky for a Congressional Angel of Adoption Award in 2002.
Nice.
Also...doesn't anyone else see the resemblance between Rick Santorum and Damien Thorn? I'm just sayin'...
I don't know who will get my vote this fall. I am a life-long Democrat but I am tired of the wars. I'm sick of putting American lives at risk in the Middle East. Ron Paul's foreign policy is the best there is. I love President Obama but I think he has given too much, compromised too much. I think he'll be a wonderful ex-president. Like Jimmy Carter, maybe President Obama is just too nice of a guy to be President. Ron Paul is just so right on foreign policy. You know, end the wars!
