What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

Old Whatshername

Polly Horavath is super funny. I would love to meet this lady. I loved that she is the reader of the audiobooks for the Bunny's. Lord and Lady Bunny-- Almost Royalty! is the second book in the Bunny series and I hope there are more.
I especially love the depiction of Old Whatshername.
Hilarious! Loved it! Love Polly Horvath!

Funny. Very funny.

I am a very big fan of Polly Horvath. I love, love, love her sense of humor. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny- Detectives Extraordinaire is a book that I have seen on the downloadable audiobooks, but I never checked out because I thought it was a picture book. I was so excited when I clicked on it and learned that it is a book-book! And what a book! I loved this book! I can't wait to read the next one.
The human parents in this book are hideous! They are caricatures, of course. And they are Portland types for sure. But Mr. and Mrs. Bunny are wonderful, wonderful. The audio is read by the author and she does a super, super job! Great, great book!
