What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

New Hobby!

Yes! I have found a great new hobby! LEGO! Now that I don't smoke and I don't go to the drive-in and I've been to a million haunts, I was worried that all I had left to be obsessive about was reading. No fear! Today I decided LEGO is my new thing! I've saved a lot of money, given to my charities and I decided I can afford to buy my first set. Not surprisingly, I chose from the Monster Fighters series! When I went to buy my sets, Vampyre Castle and Ghost Train, I engaged in two amazing conversations with grown men! They also collect LEGO! And don't like Paul Ryan! Bonus! So LEGO, a great way to talk to interesting and intelligent guys and also have fun!
