What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

A few days

since I have posted and yes, it is mostly because I have started nano and so far, I am doing okay! The first day I wrote about 2,000 words and realized, at the end of it all, that I had nothing more to say about that.  At all.  So the next day I just started over.  Now I am one day ahead! 
I am not reading as much, either, because of the writing, but listening to the lastest Prey book from John Sandford, and that is really good.  Probably will finish it today but not sure.  It's one of those MP3 CD's and I have no idea how to tell how many more tracks there are.  But I think I'm probably 3/4 to the end. 
Feeling very out of it, lately.  Just tired or something.  Not sure what the deal is.
