This was a truly enjoyable book. Think Like a Freak: the authors of Freakonomics offer to retrain your brain is filled with a lot of great little stories, as usual. Of course, there was my whole hesitancy over the Lemonjello thing, but I look on the Freakonomics Blog and while I didn't find the place where my question was addressed directly, if it was, I did see the Dubner and Levitt are still looking for Lemonjello and his brother. So that made me very happy. This morning I sent an email off to the address listed for the authors on their blog, so maybe I will get an answer. I hope so.
Regardless, this is a must-read. It really is.
What's Going On Here?
There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.
