What's Going On Here?

There are SO MANY wonderful book review blogs out there and I can't compete with them, that is for sure. So this is not a book review blog. This is just a way for me to organize what I have read so that I can be better at matching the right book to the right person. The blog title comes from the brilliant mind of the most talented woman who ever lived, Ms. Judy Garland. The full quote is, "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of someone else." That is what I hope to do here and in ever aspect of my life.

Meh

I don't know...I tried to finish Stuart's Cape a few times.  I finally did.  Being so short I didn't see any reason to break up with it.  It just didn't really pull me in or wow me.  Stuart is a nice kid.  Just moved to a new town.  Nervous about starting at a new school, that kind of thing.  He believes that he can't have any fun or adventure without a cape and so he makes one, out of his dad's neckties, which is pretty clever and I bet it would very attractive!  This was okay, but I probably won't read any more in the series.
